The Art compact vacuum cleaner was marketed as your secondary product for smaller spaces. The dust bag is found in the main head compartment leaving space in the upright arm to support an extendable hose for various attachments.
The unique profile of the main unit is derived from the shape of a dust pan to indicate a fast, easy, more utilitarian approach to cleaning.
My role as part of a small team was provide form inspiration in the early phases of the program.
Some initial archetypal sketch exploration looking at how the gesture of everyday home tools could be incorporated into this particular vacuum cleaner architecture.
